£12,960

*All tuition fees shown exclude any applicable sales tax in your country of residence. Where local regulations require sales tax to be applied, it will be added to the tuition fee at the statutory rate and confirmed during the payment process/checkout.

Tuition fees are billed per module each term. Admitted students will be required to submit a £1,000 nonrefundable deposit to reserve a place in the programme. Enrolment deposits will be applied as a credit toward the first term’s tuition fees once the student enrols in the programme.

Please note the cost of tuition fees does not include out-of-pocket expenses such as books, additional course materials or other fees.

Tuition fees are subject to change. A moderate increase should be expected each year.

Funding and financial support options

Lancaster University is committed to providing an affordable education without compromising the integrity and quality of the educational experience you expect from a top-tier university. We believe every student, regardless of background, can excel and grow through higher education.

When evaluating how to pay for an online degree programme, students often explore a number of different resources. Below, we’ve outlined some financing options for which you may be eligible to apply.

  • A postgraduate master’s loan can help UK residents with course fees and living costs while you study a postgraduate-taught course. For full details, visit the UK Government website.

  • Lancaster University graduates can receive a 10% tuition fee discount.

  • Many employers offer partial or full financial support for employees pursuing further education. Check with your manager or HR representative.

  • If you need additional financial assistance, research other education loan lenders to determine if a private loan is best for your situation.

  • If you are a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen, you do not qualify for federal student aid or military education benefits for this programme due to the online format.

For all other international students, Lancaster University uses the guidance provided by the UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA), and recommends international students review the guidelines from the UKCISA below to determine if a student meets the requirements to fit one of the categories to be eligible for the home fee rate.
